provide a complete botanical and nature art education that goes a long way to
aid those interested in classical art
as well as those interested in the sciences of botany, entomology, and ornithology.
At our Academy, you can develop your artistic skills with a focus on painting and drawing botanical subjects based on Classical Renaissance, Dutch, and French master techniques.

Our Academy offers an open-enrollment. Students can enroll in classes, work on projects of their choice, or follow the Academy’s program based on O.M. Braida-Chiusano’s “Ten Steps – A Course in Botanical Art & Illustration” book series.
Payments to the Academy for Textbooks, Course Registration, Review Fees, Tutor Calls, Class, or Workshops can be made by credit card or by check made payable to Academy of Botanical Art. The Academy refund policy is as follows:
1. A non-refundable registration fee of $25 applies to all students who register for any ABA course, class, or workshop.
2. In the event a student, who wishes to withdraw from an Academy class, course, or workshop, notifies ABA in writing of their request to withdraw from a course or workshop’s first class, a course tuition refund, less the course registration fee, books, and course paks, will be honored.
3. Students are requested to notify the Academy if they are unable to attend a CLASS. Classes that are missed, may be rescheduled at no additional charge as long as 24-hour notice is provided.
4. Students are requested to notify the Academy if they are unable to attend a TUTOR CALL. Missed Tutor Calls may be rescheduled at no additional charge.
*Note: You can take electives intermittently or at the end of your course sequence. Plant Morphology Projects #1-9, or Project #10 can be taken after Drawing II and will count as an elective. The Plant Morphology Answer Handbook is a required CORE course. Inquire about how to apply your previous life experiences toward your elective study.

WORKSHOPS: One Day Workshop Times
10am to 5pm
WORKSHOPS: Two & Three Day Workshop Times
9:30am to 2:30pm
